Event-Horizon-ES-Mod
A downloadable mod
An attempt to create a mod for the game Event Horizon using content from the open source game Endless Sky.
This mod adds ships, outfits, and weapons from Endless Sky and some plugins, as well as certain mechanics that have been modified to match. Vanilla remains mostly unchanged.
For copyrights and credits, see the appropriate text file.
If you wish to have a screenshot of your gameplay displayed on the right side of the page, post a comment with a link to the image and the author may add the image (with credits to poster).
In accordance with the GPL-3+ and CC-BY-SA-4.0 licenses, the raw database is open source.

Install instructions
For PC:
1: Navigate to the folder containing your Event Horizon game executable.
2: If there is no folder named "Mods", create one. If such a folder already exists, go to the next step.
3: Move your copy of the mod file into the Mods folder and remove any previous versions of the mod already in the folder.
4: Open the game and select the mod in the mod selection menu.
For Android:
1: Using a file explorer, navigate to this directory in your internal storage: Android/data/com.ZipasGames.EventHorizon/files
2: If there is no folder named "Mods", create one. If such a folder already exists, go to the next step.
3: Move your copy of the mod file into the Mods folder and remove any previous versions of the mod already in the folder.
4: Open the game and select the mod in the mod selection menu.
Unfortunately, iOS installations of Event Horizon do not support mods (as far as the author is aware).

Ncice 1.10 compatilvty
Any 3v3 weapon slot of any ship is clogged with original weapons and cannot be withdrawn for credits. And therefore it is impossible to play normally on large ships with such slots.
These 3x3 weapons can be unlocked after you research them in the appropriate tech tree.
I found a strange bug,about republic of earth battleship fusion cannon weapon,it wont hit ships,it just bypass it,can you make it hit,this wepaon only hit projectiles and dissapeared when got hit by a beam!?

I'm new to this mod and I don't know what the special modules do like what's the difference of heat sinks and cooling system pls help
Heat sinks and coolers reduce the time delay between using energy and regenerating energy. Reactors, engines, and some other modules increase this delay.
Thanks for the info. Another question where do I find the spawn distances of the starbases like example maybe the swarm in like 200ly.
You can't actually find the exact distance a Faction starts appearing but you can just guess it like you did for the Swarm.
Factions do not spawn exactly at their specified distances because of the inherent random-ness of the game. The provided numbers are a guideline and not a hard rule.
also I though the archons use cannon weapon like in endless sky main game,why exatvly use missile type again?
The archon has the unused nuclear missile equipped as a placeholder. The antimatter cannon might be implemented in a distant future.
hmm if good make the archon be a hidden blueprint in the faction tech bp and its weaponry,to get it must capture their base(decent chances) ,destroy one of the archons(lowest chances),or destroy on the encounters on random systems that the AI build same as the real endless sky archon build(chances to encounter really low)
hmm the new version when encountered a ship goes bug and cant in battle,can fix it in next update please
What is the ship that causes the bug? What happens when you encounter the ship? Is it a ship from a quest ("You encounter a strange ship bearing no faction markings.")?
it said encounter asteroid like ship,but when I press fight it,not into the battle and just on the map do nothing and cant discover more systems when move to another systems near unexplored one,I think I encounter it in remnant or trisolar territory
I have updated the mod and replaced a missing fleet in the quest file. Hopefully this fixes things. To see the change, re-download the 0.13.2 mod file.
hmm another quedtion,what the overclocked hull module for in the hierarch faction,and also archon are encounterable or not?
Overclocked Hull Repair for the Heliarchs provide health regeneration.
Archons can be encountered at 1000 LY. They are a "gatekeeper" ship to temporarily prevent level 200 ships. They cannot be acquired.
or maybe only 1 ships have it for player on the encouter quest?
